Deal of Century or Deal of Self-interests and Self-services!

Deal of Century or Delusion of Distraction from Impeachment in DC and Indictment in Tel Aviv?

Wednesday night's discussion was very ethical and fruitful, out of many subjects in the agenda, I like to share two touchy subjects!

1- The water crisis in Detroit!

Since 2014 over 112000 households in Detroit hod water shut offs for not being able to pay their bills out of total destitute and poverty!

Years later thousands of those homes’ water still disconnected.

That means no water for drinking, cooking, showering, bathroom etc!

Shame to observe this poverty and pain, while trillions of dollars go for all those unnecessary wars and military machines!

Investing less than 1 percent of those war budgets can bring big peace and prosperity in Detroit and other suffering cities in America!

2- Another subject was Trump’s Deal of Century to end 70 years of Israeli - Palestinian conflict!

Sounds like a joke than a genuine gesture!

What kind of deal with Palestinians without the presence of the Palestinians?

Trump called it a generous deal that should make Bibi very happy!

WOW,Thank you for ur generosity, for giving from what is not yours, to someone who doesn’t deserve it!

So it is not a plan and it’s not for peace!

A poisonous political propaganda!

An unethical approach to an oppressive occupation with promising no real state, no sovereignty and no real service to those who are suffering under apartheid attitude of Israeli politicians!

The solution and healing for this confect is not coming through hypocrisy and deception but honest and unbiased mediation meant to establish real peace and justice!

That can’t be by Trump, Netanyahu, Ben Salaam and other selfish and greedy politicians but the wise people among the Jewish and Palestinian people who live in the region!

Without real justice, unfortunately no real peace!

I passed our community’s condolences to our Congressman’s family as I had a short conversation with president Bill Clinton, senator Debbie Stabenow and some local and Federal judges!

The late, John deserved this great service!

He was not only our Congressman, he was a Congressman for the entire nation!

The time that not too many politicians used to come to any mosque or Islamic center, John stood for justice, democracy, freedom, human rights and peace for all!

Today we said goodbye to a man of integrity, action and friendship John Conyers, hoping the new generation of politicians continua his legacy of standing for truth, justice and human rights in America and the world!

Imam Elahi words of grace!

O Lord of love, justice, and truth!

You confirmed in your final revelation, the holy Quran, that hatred has no room in your kingdom!

You said that paradise is s place of peacemakers who treat their neighbors with benevolence and brotherhood!

While the hell is the home of hate mongers who hurt people with their expressions or actions based on their race, religion, nationality, language or cultural differences!

O Lord, the character, credibility, democracy, integrity, and existence of this beautiful land are in danger of destruction by the forces of ignorance, arrogance, animosity, intolerance, racist rhetorics, selfishness, and hypocrisy!

Help us O Lord to rise to our human responsibility and promote the culture of compassion, rationality, and respect!

So the rifles used in Alpaso and Dayton can be replaced with reflection and reason,

Shooting be replaced with understanding,

Death threats are replaced with dialogue,

Sanction and isolation be replaced with cooperation, wisdom, and fellowship.

Stop them O lord from justifying their hatred, supremacy, fake claims, warmongering and terrorist attacks under your name or any faith tradition!

Since you are the Lord of Love, logic, life, and dignity!

Thank you, God, for inspiring our Governor, members of our congress and community leaders and organizations for this gathering of solidarity, and support for the victims of hate, racism, and injustice!

Interfaith Partners Stood Against War with Iran!

66585159_10161980142305293_5416520640104497152_o.jpg

Organized with the help of Michigan United, Congresswoman Andy Levin, imam Elahi, Rev. Zundel, Rev. Rowe, Rev. Flowers and Mr. Ryan Bates addressed the media and condemned the war hawks propaganda and lies justify starting a war with Iran!

Imam Elahi mentioned that he started his interfaith journey in Iran before migrating to the US 27 years ago. Taking about religious diversity in Iran, he pointed to the existence of over 300 churches and over 90 synagogues in the country.

Though the Sunni Muslims are a Minority there are over 10000 Sunni mosques in the country.

He pointed to so many similar values in both the American and Iranian revolutions such as Declaration of Independence, freedom, life, liberty, and human equality and dignity!

Imam Elahi reminded the media of the Iranians to be the First Nation to hold candle vigil in show of sympathy for the families of 9-11 victims,

Thousands of Iranians sacrificed their blood to defeat isis, Alqeda and other terrorist cults in Iraq and Syria in addition to giving thousands of lives to prevent drug trafficking from Afghanistan to the Western world!

Imam questioned the honesty and seriousness of president Trump in sending phone number through Swiss embassy and said how can the president can be taken seriously while he keeps undoing all that accomplished during Obama Administration, disrespecting the breathtaking work of Zarif-Karry’s teams

Destroying a deal signed by our system and representatives of the major world powers? For President Trump to tear up an international treaty was an irresponsible, shameful and wrong act!

Not only he moved away from the agreement but he declared unjust sanction and economic war which based on Bolton it was meant to squeeze Iranians very hard until the pips squeak!

Giuliani went even farther saying the intention behind the sanction is to overthrow them!

Obviously violation of the agreement made more political isolation for Trump administration and and moved Iran closer to Russia and China!

Referring to recent report of Agnes Callamard the lead investigator of Khashoggi slaughtering in Saudi ambassador and their war crimes in Yemen, the imam said if anyone deserved sanction based on Agnes investigation it should be MBS not innocent Iranians!

Imam Elahi quoted Trump before the election who tweeted that the Saudi Kingdom was the world biggest founder of terrorism but now his Vice President accused Iran as the world sponsor of terrorism and still wants to negotiate!

Mr president if you really mean it then go back to the deal, cancel sanctions, and use a language of peace, respect, humbleness and not anger, arrogance, stubbornness and greed!

Threatening Iran with using words such as total obliteration, official end, crushing etc- won’t work!

As Enshtine said the definition of insanity is to do something again and again and expecting different result!

Imam Elahi stayed that the Iranians have no hard feeling for America and it’s great nation, though they are frustrated of certain practices of US governments toward them! Things like 1953 coup by CIA, support for Saddam during Iran-Iraq war, targeting flight 655 killing all its 290 passengers including 66 children, support for Mujahedeen Khalq who are responsible for killing of thousands of Iranians!

Imam concluded that still the best and the only option is dialogue, diplomacy and negotiation.

Diplomacy would work if the president silence the warmongers around him and not to be manipulated by words of Netanyahu and Ben Salman!

Remember it was Netanyahu who said that he convinced Trump to exit the nuclear deal and it was him who described the recent gathering in Warsaw as an opportunity to advance their interest in war with Iran.

Better Netanyahu solve his own criminal case with the court than adding a criminal war in the region.

How beautifully said it Benjamin Franklin “ life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late!

Let’s pray for wisdom as a way out of this global mess, confusion and chaos.

Wisdom was the main message of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad.

I am glad that we are here today to use the weapon of wisdom rather than war, death and destruction!

We call for peace and condemn hate, hypocrisy and warmongering!

Imam Elahi Addressed the Citizens for peace Assembly at the Civic Center in Livonia!

Imam Elahi Addressed the Citizens for Peace Assembly at the Civic Center in Livonia!

Citizens for Peace is a Michigan movement meets monthly to plant the seeds of peace that will grow a more peaceful world.

Imam Elahi reflected on the Quranic concept of peace. The fact that peace is one of the Quranic names of God (Salaam), and He is the One who called Paradise a house of peace. Salaam is the first expression when two Muslims see each other and its Islam’s international declaration of peace and salutation.

In Islam peace is the normal rule and war is an exception, used only as self-defense. Life is so sacred to the extend that murdering one person is equal to murdering mankind all together.

Imam discussed the paths to peace and mentioned 10 roads to establish peace including promoting justice, freedom, equality, education, respecting diversity, building trust and confidence, rejecting discrimination, rejecting the concept of might is right, fighting poverty, and exercising dialogue and decent diplomacy.

Rabbi Hornsten and Bob Podzikowski were other panelists of yesterday dialogue. They reflected on the same subject from Jewish and Christian traditions.

20th World Sabbath Celebration at Islamic House of Wisdom- A Great Success in The History of Dearborn Interfaith Work!

For the majority of Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists and other traditions who entered a mosque for the first time in their lives, they expressed their sincere appreciation for this experience and the kindness and hospitality of IHW congregation and Dearborn area Muslim community!

Imam Elahi passed the Peace Banner for 2020's Annual gathering to Rev. Mary Biedron of Farmington North Congregational Church!

Summary of Imam Elahi’s address at the World Sabbath!

"We at IHW feel so honored, humbled and happy to host the 20th Annual World Sabbath. First time in the Dearborn area and first time in a mosque!

We honor the memory of late Rev. Rod who initiated this event 20 years ago in Michigan, as we thank Mrs. Gail Kats for keeping this wonderful legacy!

Thank you clergy community and city officials for your presence and participation!

Special thank to our interfaith children who are here to sing the songs of love, peace, justice, friendship, forgiveness, respect and reconciliation!

They will say “ let there be peace on this earth and let it begin with me”

They will sing the song of “ we don’t want war any more”!

That is a wonderful message!

That means this generation telling the world:

No tyranny and terrorism any more!

No oppression and injustice any more

No invasion and occupation any more

No holocaust against the Jews any more

No war crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza any more

No genocide in Yemen, Syria, Afghanestan and Iraq any more.

No stunning, barbarian murder of Khashogies in Istanbul Embassy and be rewarded by money worshiping politicians in the East and West any more!

People need food and Friendship! People need security and service, being in Detroit or DC, Kabul or Cairo, Syria or Sanaa, Africa or Venezuela20th century was a century of great success in silence but spiritually a century of insanity and crazy destructive wars!

Over 250 million people were killed during the major wars which were launched in the name of nationalism, Communism, Colonialism etc!

If it’s true that our US governments spent $7 trillion in the last few decades in wars in the ME, then they should tell us if we have peace in that region now?

If a small portion of $700 billion of annual spending on war and military, contributed toward peacemaking , education and dialogue, the world would be much safer and happier!

Imam Elahi emphasized on celebrating the similarities between the world’s religions in so many values such as kindness, compassion, hospitality, humbleness, charity, prayer and patience!

The imam reflected on the Islamic greeting of Salaam and said peace start from our hearts, extended to God, people and universe!"

Muslim Capital Day a Great Success!

The event was organized by MMCC!

The speakers included MI Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Fadwa Hamoud from Attorney General, Rep. Abdallah Hamoud, Dr. Hadidi the president of MMCC, imam Masmary, Judge Bernstein and Imam Elahi.

The following is a summary of Imam Elahi's speech!

Thank you Dr. Hadidi and MMCC for your leadership, time and talent in arranging this event!

Thank you members and staff of Capital for your welcoming spirit and hospitality.

We are here to offer you the message of our Muslim community, the message of salaam, peace , love and friendship!

We are here to support your work in defending our democracy, diversity, dignity, constitution, bill of rights, Declaration of Independence, and American values and principles!

Our heart is broken to see these days one of your colleagues is under attack, harassment, psychological terror and life threat.

It’s not about Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, it’s about racism, hatred and Islamophobia

This tactic was used in 2016 election and this sick tsunami of Islamophobia already started before 2020 election.

What does this poor lady has to do with 9-11?

She even signed a bill demanding compensation for 9-11 victims!

If the president cares about 9-11 why did he veto a bi-partisan resolution to end the war crimes in Yemen yesterday?

To accuse a member of Congress for 9-11 while dancing with those related to 9-11 and calling them good allies this is a big hypocrisy. This is not acceptable!
