Over 600 Faithful participated, Supported, and celebrated IHW Fundraising Iftar Dinner! In the Middle of Ramadan, between Passover and Easter and on the birth anniversary of Imam Hasan Al-Mujtaba (sa) Bellagio Banquet Hall in Dearborn Hts observed a great night of celebration with the presence of Dearborn Hts mayor, his administration, members of the City Council and its Chair hajj Dave Abdallah, interfaith leaders, community activists, and religious scholars! Dr. Mohammad Ajjour, Dr. Firas Hemadeh, Dr. Mahdi Elahi, Sayyed Khalil Hashem, and sister Mashhadiya addressed the guests, sharing information on the history of IHW services on faith, education, outreach, actions and standing for truth and justice. Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi the founding imam of IHW reflected on the inspiring character of Imam Hasan(sa) his peace-making personality, and his strong passion for charity. Imam Elahi called the Quran an interfaith message dedicated to hundreds of verses explaining the mission of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad ( PBUH) Speaking on the philosophy of fasting the imam called the month of Ramadan an opportunity for building spiritual character and victory of virtue over vice, and self-discipline over self-deception! The imam prayed for peace and condemned the Russian aggression on Ukraine, Israeli police aggression at the Aqsa mosque, and crime against the worshipers the last Friday morning, the Saudi aggression in Yemen and the oppression of Taliban forces in Afghanistan! Imam Elahi asked the guests to be generous to IHW and other good causes not only by hand but also with their time and talent! Other speakers of IHW during the iftar were the pastor Payton the leader of the Baptist church in Pontiac, Rev. David Kosbo of the Family Church, Dr. Mahmoud Hadidi of MMCC, Osama Siblini of AANEWS!
في منتصف شهر رمضان ، بين عيد الفصح و ذكرى ولادة الإمام حسن المجتبى (ع) أقيم حفل إفطار السنوي لدار الحكمة الاسلامي في قاعة بيلاجيو في مدينة ديربورن هايتس الامريكية حيث ضم الحفل أكثر من ٦٠٠ شخص بحضور عمدة ديربورن هايتس ، واعضاء المجلس البلدي ورئيسه الحاج ديف عبد الله ، وعدد من قادة الأديان ونشطاء الجالية و علماء الدين!
كانت كلمة لكل من د.محمد عجور ، د. فراس حمادة ، الدكتور مهدي الالهي، السيد خليل هاشم والناشطة مشهدية
وتبادلوا المعلومات حول تاريخ خدمات دار الحكمة الاسلامي في الإيمان والتعليم والتوعية والعمل والوقوف من أجل الحقيقة والعدالة.
انعكس الشيخ محمد علي إلهي ،المؤسس لدار الحكمة الاسلامي ، على الشخصية الملهمة للإمام الحسن (ع) شخصيته التي تصنع السلام ، وشغفه القوي للأعمال الخيرية.
وصف الشيخ إلهي القرآن بأنه رسالة عبر الأديان في شرح رسالة الأنبياء إبراهيم وموسى وعيسى ومحمد (ع).
وفي حديثه عن فلسفة الصوم وصف الشيخ شهر رمضان بأنه فرصة لبناء الشخصية الروحية وانتصار الفضيلة على الرذيلة والانضباط على خداع الذات!
دعى الشيخ من أجل السلام واستنكر العدوان الروسي على أوكرانيا وعدوان القوات الإسرائيلية على المسجد الأقصى والجريمة بحق المصلين صباح الجمعة الماضي والعدوان السعودي على اليمن وقمع قوات طالبان في أفغانستان!
طلب الشيخ إلهي من الضيوف أن يكونوا كرماء مع دار الحكمة وغيرها من القضايا الصالحة ليس فقط باليد ولكن أيضًا بوقتهم وموهبتهم!
