Over one Hundred Christian and Muslim clergy attended a safety summit at Larry K. Lewis Education Center today.
Representatives from law enforcement and Intelligence Organizations provided a great amount of vital information, so the churches and mosques are better prepared to respond to security threats.
These serious threats are created by human greed, ignorance, mental disorder and many other criminal causes.
How religious leaders can play a role in protection of places of worship against all these internal and external warning signs and symbols?
Five hours of security orientation was a great gift for places of prayer, education and community centers. I hope the Dearborn clergy community takes these sessions seriously in the future. I didn't see any of our local clergy in such a serious summit."
