5/4/17: Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi's Prayer on National Day of Prayer!
The National Day of Prayer Honored in Dearborn, Michigan!
I was so humbled and happy to stand with the Mayor, John O'Reilly of Dearborn, interfaith clergy, members of Dearborn's Police department and some community members to listen to their prayer and share with them my Islamic perspective of prayer! Please read the following words of grace and share your Ameen or Amin!
Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi's Prayer on National Day of Prayer!
Dearborn Administrative Center - 5/4/17
In the Name of God the Compassionate the Merciful.
Thank You God for guiding us to this gathering.
Please make every day of our nation, a day of prayer, a day of unity, a day of peace and a day of justice and generosity.
Bless our hearts with love, our minds with wisdom, our actions with compassion.
Lead us O Lord on the road of responsibility, so we can continue to raise our voice against the evil of ignorance, the sickness of extremism, the sin of segregation and racism, the hell of hypocrisy, injustice and oppression.
Bless our nation with the gift of health, happiness and prosperity and free us from any mental, moral, social and physical harms and evil.
Help our political leaders to be ambassadors of peace, rationality, rule of law and care for this country and the rest of humanity.
Bless O Lord our city and state and keep us all together, as one family during all times of sadness and happiness, tests and trials, tragedies and triumphs. Ameen!
