Secretry of State Mike Pompeo

In his recent tweet

“As I said to the people of Iran almost a year and a half ago: The United States is with you,”

I wish Mr. Pompeo had explained what he meant by the people of Iran?

Are the people of Iran those who suffer from US sanctions, travel bans, and so called maximum pressures or the criminals, gangsters and terrorists who created more pains and tragedies for the poor!

Are the people of Iran in Pompeo eyes those who abused the legitimate concerns of the Iranians and burned thousands of banks, gas stations, supermarkets and the people’s properties and killed some innocent men, women and children?

I never defended certain political mistakes of some Iranian leaders, they are not perfect, none of our own political leaders here at home are perfect either!

But what happened in the last few days in Iran was a crime against poor people who lost their basic daily services becuse of anarchy and attacks on public properties!

If the Secretery of State cares about the Iranian people, he should cancel the sanctions that have caused people with cancer in the hospitals getting no access to the medicines they need!

So irresponsible and disgraceful.
