Celebrating the legacy and contributions of Congressman John Conyers!

I just got back from Creator Grace Church in Detroit where funeral service of our dear friend and our Congressman Conyers was performed!

I passed our community’s condolences to our Congressman’s family as I had a short conversation with president Bill Clinton, senator Debbie Stabenow and some local and Federal judges!

Late John deserved this great service. He was not only our Congressman, he was a Congressman for the entire nation!

The time that not too many politicians used to come to any mosque or Islamic center, John stood for justice, democracy, freedom, human rights and peace for all!

Today we said goodby to a man of integrity, action and friendship John Conyers, hoping the new generation of politicians continua his legacy of standing for truth, justice and human tights in America and the world!
