Mayor Mike Duggan and chief James Craig of Detroit joined our interfaith meeting, reflecting on reform in police policies and practices!

Imam Elahi was one of the speakers, he thanked the mayor and chief Craig for sharing right information and for their services to the city of Detroit.

Imam supported the call for reformation, correction and changing for better, not only in police departments but every serving individual and institution in our country!

Dealing with the current challenges, the imam appreciated the outreach of the city officials and called the dialogue, education and building bridges of understanding with the communities, the best direction to end both racism and violence in our society!

Imam Elahi prayed for healing from this painful pandemic and also the wounds of political and cultural wars in our nation!
