Lieutenant Governer Garlin Gilchrist met with a group of interfaith activists in Dearborn!

It was a great outreach initiated by our honorable Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist and his interfaith director Williams Dion to spend over an hour of conversation, questions and answers with some the area’s mosques and church leaders.

Mental health issues, security, gun control, education, economic issues, the dynamic of diversity in Michigan, the expected role of places of worship in providing spiritual security and guidance were among the subjects during that friendly conversation with the Lieutenant Gilchrist!

Imam Elahi appreciated the leadership and the hard work of Governor Whitmer and her active administration and wished her and her great team the best to accomplish all their goals in serving the great State of Michigan!
