Last night at Dearborn Henry Hotel!

An especial Eid Ceremony was organized by president Dr. Farhan Latif and members of El-Hibri Foundation in Henry Hotel in Dearborn in preparation for the Foundation’s summit at the end of this Summer.

The keynote speaker was imam Mohamed Magid the newly appointed by president Biden and Congress as Commissioner on International Religious Freedom Commission.

Imam Magid is the former ISNA Secretery General and currently the spiritual leader of All Dulles Area Muslim Society!

Imam Elahi honored decades of friendship with imam Magid and welcomed him to Dearborn area.

Imam wished the new Commissioner the best in his new mission of observing religious freedom in the world.

Imam Elahi asked the new Commissioner to pay spacial attention to certain countries in the Middle East where the minorities’s religious rights are totally violated and people are deprived of their minimum religious rights. Certain countries that people were taken to jails even for singing a religious song!

Imam Magid welcomed the idea and stated that after traveling to India he will make a trip to Middle Eastern countries as well.

Mayor Abdullah Hamoud addressed the local and National guests and expressed his pleasure to talk to such a diverse and dedicated audience!
