Life flies so fast: very short and shaky!

It was Summer of 1990, 33 years ago! my first trip to America, invited by the Assembly of World Religions, to attend their interfaith conference in San Francisco!

One week of interacting with over 500 religious representatives from all over the world in San Francisco Hyatt Regency hotel, so enriching and inspiring!

Right after the conference I traveled to Dearborn to visit late imam Mohammad Jawad Cherri, imam Abdollatif Berri and the Muslim community in this area.

These are the first group of Dearborn community Muslim youth I met at that time, They gathered to see me with so much joy and smile.

A year after this meeting, I moved to Dearborn for good, Sadly after settling in the area, I rarely saw the same youth again, sadly some already passed away

Hope Enshaallah the rest are still around and enjoy the achievements of their lives with their extended families and grandchildren.

The most success in this life, is to establish more foundations for friendship and love
