Today in the Holy City of Qum

Visiting the Shrine of Sayyeda Fatima Masouma (as) in the holy city of Qum provided me with a golden opportunity to meet and converse with numerous scholars, including Samahat Ayatollah Alawi Boroujerdy. Ayatollah Boroujerdy, a distinguished teacher at Aazam Mosque, addresses over 500 advanced students in his class daily.

He is the grandson of late Ayatollah Boroujerdy the greatest Marja of Muslim Shia world in 20th century.

Our personal meeting, which lasted over an hour, focused on how to present Islam to the Western world, emphasizing love, friendship, compassion, justice and openness.
