Tuesday, April 1, 2014: Professor Mark Coppenger- director of southern Baptist theological  Seminary, Pastor Matthew Vroman- of East side Community Church, Pilot Steve Runer and hajj Dawood Zwink- Director of the Michigan Muslim Community Council met with Imam Elahi.

Professor Mark shared some information about the Nashville Seminary. Imam Elahi appreciated the openness and outreach of the Seminary Director and emphasized on the importance of dialogue between the Muslim and Christian communities in USA and other parts of the world.Professor Coppenger and a delegation of teachers and students will participate and observe the Friday prayer at the Islamic House of Wisdom tomorrow at 1:30pm! Everyone is welcome!  

Dr. Faith Pratt Hopp and Anne Darwish-Talab the Director of Social Services in ACCESS met with Imam Elahi to discuss an idea for the establishment of a Daycare for senior Citizens of the community.

Imam Elahi shared his experiences and spiritual support that the IHW has offered for the Senior citizens since the formation of the IHW in 1995, and pledged his support for any service to those in need especially the elderly. 

Tuesday, April 1, 2014: A press conference and final planning meeting for Monday's upcoming Family and Marriage conference was held at the IHW. Following the press release- organizers met in the conference room to finalize last minute details and logistics of the event.
